A Thousand Ships by Nathalie Haynes retells the story of the Trojan war for the first time from the perspective of its women.

The design of the book was inspired by the many myths of weaving and threading in ancient Greece. Ariadne, Penelope, Arachne, the Fates, and even Helen, used thread to protect their loved ones and to tell their stories.
